Do not leave your bicycles at home when planning your holidays in Ueckermünde. A fully developed network of cycling routes through woods and fields and meadows will make your trips become a memorable experience of nature's beauty. With a bit of luck you could also watch game.

"August Bartelt" nature trail
We particularly recommend the "August Bartelt" nature trail, named after a natural scientist of our town, who was also passionately interested in local history and culture. This hiking and cycling trail can be reached via the zoo
or via Liepgarten. Or you follow Chausseestraße road out of town till you cross the trail. It will make you find rare species of trees and copse and also provides information boards and illustrated charts referring to fauna and flora.
